Dont let your eyes fool you - thats no angel. When aliens decided to invade us - they knew what they are doing. They came as holy createures to rain panic among our troops. And they succeeded. Picture is showing one of the first battles that took place in Israel. Angelic squads literally wiped out first response teams. With bioactvie liquid armour and plasma nanofibers our troops were no match for them. And so prophecy came true... the end of days from heaven... has come...

To be honest I finished that piece few days ago but i was fixing little things every now and then and finally said - thats it. So here it is. Hope you enjoy it ;]

Alien invasion huh?

Antimatter pumped fusion bombs, just to be sure. Also power armor that needs full caliber (no 'SABOT' shit) HV rounds in small arms, plasma jet warheads, MISSILE-A-PALUZA, LASERS, 20 kilos of kinetic round going at 10km/s, and a whole lot more.

And that's just WWIII tech. :evillaugh:

Very nice! So much sci-fi and fantasy works has to do with aliens and the interetation of the Bible among other things. My question is, can your versions be killed? I know you said the first response teams were no match, but still. Do bullets inflict damage? Is their armor too strong? What about a head shot or a tank round etc.? And what do these being actually look like? Do they really look like that or do they morph or shift into that form. Or is that simply how the human mind perceives such creatures?

Amazing artwork, certainly is an interesting interpretation you've expressed, but I do have to disagree with the concept just because the book of Revelation is more of a political paper. Although it also is meant to increase moralle and inspire hope and faith. The book is still seen as expressing the views of the author concerning the romans and their persecution of jewish people during that time if I recall correctly. The devil was actually supposed to be a metaphor for whoever was emperor at the time, and essientally the purpose of Revelations was more to inspire hope and give confidence and faith to the oppressed, it promised a day of freedom, love, and while somewhat contradictory at first glance, Justice. Justice only seeming somewhat contradictory in that it promises that the deaths and mistreetment of the just shall be avenged and the wicked will be punished for their misdeeds/more importantly their mistreetment of the just and faithful holy men and women. But then again, I'm just remebering freshmen year off the top of my head here, so feel free to reach your own conclusions.

VERY cool concept. the only thing I would ask, though is- if this is Israel, and the aliens were trying to lull people into believing they were heavenly messengers...why does she have a CROSS on her tabard? Wouldn't you expect them to use the dominant holy symbols of whatever region they were active in?
